Back to Critical Numbers and Graphing from Formulas

Exercise 15

Avg difficulty 2.5

Consider the function ff defined by f(x)=cos⁡2(x)+sin⁡(x)\fe{f}{x}=\fe{\cos^2}{x}+\fe{\sin}{x} over the restricted domain [0,2π]\cinterval{0}{2\pi}.

What are the critical numbers of ff? Remember to show all relevant work! Remember that your formula for f′(x)\fe{\fd{f}}{x} needs to be a single, completely factored, fraction!
