3.7 Exercise 73

Avg difficulty 2.5

A car travels at a constant speed of 50 miles per hour. The distance the car travels in miles is a function of time, t, t , in hours given by d(t)=50t. d \left(t\right) = 50 t . Find the inverse function by expressing the time of travel in terms of the distance traveled. Call this function t(d). t \left(d\right) . Find t(180) t \left(180\right) and interpret its meaning.
