9.5 Exercise 210

Avg difficulty 2.5

Prove the identity.

The displacement h(t) h \left(t\right) in centimeters of a mass suspended by a spring is modeled by the function h(t)= 1 4 sin(120πt), h \left(t\right) = \frac{1}{4} \sin \left(120 \pi t\right) , where t t is measured in seconds. Find the amplitude, period, and frequency of this displacement.
