9.6 Exercise 9

Avg difficulty 2.5

A coaxial cable consists of an inner conductor with radius ri=0.25cmr_{\text{i}} = 0.25 \text{cm} and an outer radius of ro=0.5cmr_{\text{o}} = 0.5 \text{cm} and has a length of 10 meters. Plastic, with a resistivity of ρ=2.00×1013Ω·m\rho = 2.00 \times 10^{13} \Omega \cdot \text{m}, separates the two conductors. What is the resistance of the cable?
